01 — The BackgroundAEE Rwanda

A bold, warm and practical identity.

AEE Rwanda (African Evangelistic Enterprise) has served Rwanda since 1984, with a local office in 29 of 30 districts and four groups served: children, youth, women and families, and communities.

02 — The Challenge

An identity as dependable as the work.

A four-decade-old NGO needed a brand that feels bold and warm, works in practice across print and screen, and keeps its faith and its service at the centre.

01

Bold and warm

Strong enough to lead, human enough to trust.

02

Practical

A style guide any team can apply.

03

Built for giving

A website with a Donate button always in reach.

03 — The Creative Concept

Built from bars, rooted in Rwanda.

The logo is angular, forward-leaning and unmistakably African.

01

Built from bars

The A and E are cut from stacked orange bars with angled ends, forward-leaning like a step or an arrow.

02

Africa, with a cross

A badge holds the continent with a cross at its heart, set into the A. Faith at the centre of the work.

03

Rooted in Rwanda

The outline of Rwanda sits in the element set, anchoring the brand to the country it serves.

04 — The Solution & Execution

Rules that protect the mark.

A monogram of bars, the Africa-and-cross badge and a wordmark in Sofia Sans Black, with clear space equal to one orange bar. A Serving Since 1984 stamp and a pattern woven from the logo’s own angled bars add texture for banners and web sections.

01

Logo versions

Full colour with tagline, white on olive, white on dark, and on photography inside a solid holding shape.

02

Typography

Sofia Sans Black for headlines, Sofia Sans Regular for body. Helvetica is the approved substitute.

03

Stamp and pattern

A secondary mark celebrating four decades of service.

04

Stationery
